After darkness is light. Jacob wrestled the angel of Esau through the night, but as the dawn of the morning came the strength of Esau diminished. For the power of the chieftains of the nations has power only in the night, that is while in exile. We see that the angel of Esau had no choice but to bless Jacob as the dawn of the morning came and the redemption of the day drew close (exile draws to a close).
Esau has no choice but to admit Isaac's blessing upon Jacob, that Jacob is to receive both the corporeal realm and the supernal realms. For at the time of the night, Esau may have taken all the corporeal world by the power of the sword, but as the dawn of redemption begins to shine Esau's dominion is taken away and Jacob prevails and receives the promise in both this world and the world to come, for it is written “and HaShem will be King over all the earth; on that day HaShem will be One and His name One” Zechariah 14:9. And again in Isaiah 24:21 “it shall be on that day that HaShem will deal with the hosts of heaven in heaven, and with the kings of the earth on earth”.
When the night is over and the light shines, both the supernal grades and the corporeal grades will be reverted to HaShem's Anointed (Mashiach) Israel. As it is written in Malachi 3 “For behold that day is coming burning like an oven, and the wicked will be like straw to burn it up. . But a Sun of righteousness will shine for you who fear My Name, with healing in its rays and you will flourish”.
The dawning of the morning light, and the rays of righteousness are breaking through and putting to flight the princes of darkness and the nations are subdued, just as Jacob is prevailing over Esau at morning light after night, and the God of Israel prevails over the 70 nations (and its Chieftains/Angels) and takes His heritage Israel for his name's sake. Redemption draws nigh as the morning sun comes! The stone of Jacob, that was cut from the Mountain of God, strikes the nations, and the Kingdom of God is firmly established and fills the entire earth.
Daniel Chapter 2:35, 45 You were watching until one stone was hewn without hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay and crumbled them. |
Then the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold crumbled together, and they were like chaff from the threshing floors of the summer, and the wind carried them off, and no place was found for them, and the stone that struck the image became a huge mountain and filled the entire earth And in the days of these kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom forever, it will not be destroyed, and the kingdom will not be left to another people; it will crumble and destroy all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever. |
